Well well well

So today the fair started and we went out to see how well I did. I got 3rds on all of my pictures. It was fun and if I take another picture that trips my trigger I will enter again next year.

• We found out baby Joel is REALLY a baby Joel! EXCITING
• Dh took his mom home. He came home on Sunday night late.
• Sat. night Rescue Rita came with a movie and we had a home movie night. It was Doubt. I'm still not sure about that movie. I think he didn't do it but Rita thinks he did. Your call.
• Heir Apparent and girlfriend and Roommate came for dinner on Sunday. It was a very nice day.
• Anita and her boys were here for the afternoon and dinner too and it was wonderful. I can almost convince myself she lives closer then she does!
• Sunday before everyone came, The Little's and I went to Boeing's family day with a single mom friend and saw how they build plane's. It really was interesting. We were in the biggest building in the world. I am pretty sure we walked a million miles.
• Monday everyone went to work.
• Monkey is sick. He has bronchitis and is on medicine. It sounds like his lung is coming out when he coughs. Hopefully tomorrow is the turn around day.
• I made Rhubarb bread today for the first time. It's very good!

I don't know how to stop

Today I cleaned most of my house and did most of the laundry. I went to Curves then came home and made jam. I found empty jars and just couldn't leave well enough alone. I had been in the downstairs freezer and found 3 part bags of berries so I made a mixed berry jam. Rasp. Blue. Blackberries. I'm sure it's going to taste fine.

No apples on Thursday

Today is my Friday and I am sooooo glad. I am not setting my alarm tomorrow. I'm sure I will wake up at 6:30 because I don't have to be up. But 6:30 with no alarm is way better then an alarm yelling "get up, get up, get up" at you. All the apples are put away in the pantry to be enjoyed all Winter long. One jar of pie filling didn't seal right so I just put it in the fridge. Heir apparent and girlfriend came over and He opened it and put some on ice cream. They said it was very bad and they would need to take the rest of it to spare us from eating it. I did not allow that.

I have a friend that is moving and she said Heir Apparent and I could come get her strawberry plants. So after work that is what The Littles and Heir and Girlfriend and I did. He took quite a bit of them but not all. I hope they do well. While we were there watching Heir work Bugs found a lizard but Heir took a break and caught it for him. I had a cup in my van and he was put in there until we left. The lizard was let go. So off to his home he went. Bugs was sad but I didn't want it in my van. I could see so many bad things happening between her house and ours.

Applesauce Part 2

Rescue Rita came over again to help me do apples. She is such a blessing to me. We did some apple pie filling and then the rest of the apples into sauce. I think there is about 8 apples left and Skater dude will eat most of them dipped into the apple pie filling sauce. I love the way my house smells, Monkey on the other hand walks around holding his nose. He doesn't like it.

Dh left to take his mother home today. It was a good visit and I'm very glad my Dh had this time with his mom. Now on to trying to get back into a routine for school. Monkey is registered for kindergarten. He is getting excited.

Today was a busy day. I went to work and when I was finishing up I happened to look out at my van and I saw something under it. I went out and looked closer then came back in to get my camera. There was a bunny sitting under my van. I called my client and asked if it was a local friend or what and it is an escapee from the neighbor but she has hooked up with a wild bunny and they can't catch her. So I finished up my job and came home. Anita and Eli and Rescue Rita were coming to do apple's with me. Anita needed some help because she has never canned before and Rita helps because she is an angel. We did 3 batches tonight and Anita took 2 of them, I have some more apples that I will either make pie filling with or just slice and freeze. It's very late and I'm very non committal.
