31 Day Challenge - Wide

wide:
1. a. having a great extent:vast b. extending over a vast area.
2. a. having a specified extension from side to side b. fully opened
synonyms - broad

My first thought was to take a picture of my very WIDE butt, but I didn't think we needed to start the year off that way so.......
I took a walk with Scout today and saw many things but nothing was coming to me that I could photo but the ocean just wouldn't leave my mind. So this is not a picture from today, but I took this picture so I'm using it. :)

New Years Eve

I started this blog a year ago. I'm proud that I have kept it up. I am actually a little surprised that I've had anything to say at all. I am thankful for each and everyone of you that has read and commented. It's nice to know you are there, even if it's all family.
I am hoping and praying that each and everyone of you get all of what you need, some of what you want in 2010. I remember I had such high hopes for 2009 and it didn't seem to work out that way. We have struggled but we are here and a new baby is joining our family any day. We are together (relatively speaking). We have much to be thankful for. So, Bring it on 2010 - Lets dance!

Boys are weird

Life marches on. It seems like Christmas just flew in and out in a flash! I'm loving the boys home though. Monkey is sleeping really weird though. He is up late and we are having to rock him to sleep. He needs his schedule back.
Monkey jumping off the couch. I was trying to catch him way up in the air.

like this. Bugs. We had fun doing these. We were laughing so hard.

This is the picture that poofed yesterday. Grandma and some boys.

Skater and his hat! So him! He was skating in the cold today in it.

Christmas picture post

One of my favorite holiday traditions is I bake all the sugar cookies and the boys decorate them. Only 1 rule, no double dipping. They love it as much as I do.

Sunday catch up

Well! We seem to have all made it through Christmas just fine. My parents came on Christmas day and were here in time for dinner. Roommate came for dinner. I know he likes the food but he really came for butterscotch pie. I made 8 pies this year. My dad is here so mincemeat was necessary and Dh had someone to help eat it. Then there was 2 pumpkin, blueberry, cherry, raspberry, apple and the butterscotch. There is still some left but not much.
Everyone got some nice things for Christmas. It doesn't take much to make little people happy. The tree still looks pretty.
Today is my Aunties birthday. She is 69. I hope she is having the best birthday! They are traveling and I hope the beaches are just what she needs to renew and restore her soul. There is just something about a sandy beach that does that.
We have had a great visit with my parents. We have done NOTHING. I know it's very hard for my dad to sit and not do much but it was to cold for any "honey do" list that I could have for my dad to work on. So sit and enjoy each other's company is what we have done. My Guys have got my dad to watch some movies they knew he would enjoy. I think mostly we have eaten and slept.
We are looking forward to the new year. I want to enjoy this last week of 2009 but am hopeful for what 2010 will be bringing us. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.
Peace

Merry Christmas!

Pies are made. The Littles are sleeping. Monkey had to be rocked to sleep. I'm sure they are dreaming wonderful innocent boy dreams. Santa has come and we are headed to bed.
I wish everyone a wonderful Christmas day. Lord bless you and keep us far and near. Much love to everyone.
Peace
