Sunday Dinner

Sunday we had a big debate on what to have for dinner. Most everyone was thinking BBQ. It was GROSS weather. Rainy and cold. We had spaghetti. It worked. Buster was NOT in a good mood. He was rather cranky. Princess and I found music on YouTube to listen too. The Backyardigans are her favorite right now.

Buster trying to not get caught. He was TICKED when he was moved away.

Drummer throwing him up and making him giggle like crazy.

The biggest smile.

Princess REALLY wanted a turn, but didn't really want to get thrown up in the air. Death grip on daddy.

Bugs and Buster.

To Nana's house we go........

We had a sleep over last night! Princess and Buster came to stay the night. We had a fun time! We didn't do anything special but we played with My Little Pony's and Noah's Ark and had a good time. Uncle T2 tried to put Buster to bed for me but he just wouldn't stay asleep. Then my friends knocked on the door (we were going walking) and that brought him up. So up he came until later. When I got home from walking Papa had it all under control and we started moving every little person to bed. Princess and Buster slept in Monkey's room. We tucked the 3 of them in and they chattered for a few minutes and then were OUT! It went just great!
We had another sunny day! Princess is an outside girl! She loves to jump on the jumpoline and to look for bugs with Bugs. I wasn't dressed yet so I sent my camera outside with Bugs. He took some good pictures of them outside.

I showed Bugs how to use the timer. Princess wouldn't sit with them.

Lilacs. They will be beautiful in a few days.

Have a happy Sunday.

Hump Day

Today when I was leaving work I came around the shop and saw this. I stopped and just cracked up. Twin girls and their daddy's toy. Funny!

That was going to just be my Wordless Wednesday post but then when Dh and I were fixing dinner he found this bowl in the cupboard. It was part of a set that my grandmother gave us for our wedding. It started as a set of 4. I'm sure just about everyone of the era has a simular set. One broke several years ago. I know it's silly but both my grandmother's are gone and I will keep just about anything for that link to them. I know there is a day coming when my boys will ask What was she thinking???? Anyway....

The bowl in question. When Dh took the bowl out this is what he found........

:( It made me sad. I have the smallest and the biggest bowls left. The little hoarder in me wants to put them away and never use them. But in my heart I know they are just bowls. My grandmother would want me to use them. I have a heart full of memories that would over flow every bowl I have. It's just a bowl but oh so much more. What do you treasure?

Take Your Dog to Work Day

When I went to work today I took Scout with me. Where I was has a Chi too and they are friends. Scout loves to go with me and likes Paula and Pritzie.

Scout stealing the birds bread.

Heir came over since it was nice and started working in the garden. I have a bag of rhubarb cut up for jam or a pie or something. First of the season. I tried for YEARS to grow rhubarb and it would just die. When Heir came home from the military he mostly took over the garden and the rhubarb grows just fine. Ticks me off! Oh and I can't grow cilantro. It just dies. So weird!

T2 helping spread out compost and leaves so it can go tilled in. He was nice to help.

Just before they got called in for the night Monkey told me I needed to come with my camera. The Littles had taken a ladder to the rope that has been hanging in our tree that everyone swings on. They were jumping off the ladder and swinging WAY out over the sidewalk. Dh was NOT impressed. It scared him.

Ready set go!

Headed out over the sidewalk.

And there it is! Daddy was freaking!

And not to be outdone, there goes Monkey.

Daddy was REALLY not impressed with this one!

Back down to earth. WHEW!

Have a great Day!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful Mama's.

Last weekend I went to our local high school play. They did Wizard of Oz. Some of our scrap booking group kid's were in it. They did a great job! The band learned something like 50 songs. We knew the Scarecrow and the part was made for him! I love high school plays. On Friday I went to another local high school play. They did Grease. The play is a tad different then the movie. But it was a great show. The lead girl - Sandy was one of my sign language students. She did a great job. It was a fun night.

Today was Mother's Day. We got up and went to church. T2 took me to lunch when we got home. Then Heir and Roommate made a great turkey dinner for all of us. DIL had to work so Drummer was there with the kids. Roommate's mom came too. We all had such a good time. After dinner the boys were playing a game and Princess was having a turn. She is trying really hard to share. Her turn was up and one of the guys were playing. She went to Papa and said "Papa I want to play!" He said it's not your turn baby. You have to share. She looked at him with the biggest eyes and said AGAIN??? LOL I didn't have the heart to tell her the rest of your life Princess.

I hope you all have had a great day.
Have a blessed week.

Fish On

Our little Princess is 4! Saturday was her party. She had lots of family and friends. Everyone was so good to her. Princess actually seemed to enjoy it this year. She didn't like it when we all sang to her but she did blow out her candle! She is just so shy.

She was trying to pose very sweetly for me.

Miss Cake Face!

Sunday opened fishing season. OH JOY OH RAPTURE!
Dh and The Littles and me all went to a kids fishing derby today. It meant getting up at Oh:Dark Thirty. ISH! I don't particularly like fishing. BUT I have a husband and six boys who I LOVE to spend time with so fishing I went. I took my Kindle and my dog and off we went.

After waiting our turn in line, The Fishermen.

Monkey and his first fish. They each got 3.

Bugs and one of his fish.

A few weeks ago Drummer and his family got a house. My lovely DIL asked if Sunday dinner could be at their house this week. YES! It was so lovely. Drummer grilled and DIL did all the inside work. It was delicious!

After dinner all the kids played soccer and then the neighbor hollered out that they could use his VERY large big yard. Heir grabbed his football and it was ON!

Princess and Heir going to high 5 after her big play!

Roommate and Heir.

Roommate trying to get away from Princess.

Heir going long!

T2 striking a pose. He saw me with the camera. :)

Monkey and Heir high5!

Monkey has the ball. Run Monkey!

Explaining the need to share the ball. She didn't like it but she did it.

Bugs has the ball!

Their house is so cute! It's an older home but it has room for everyone to have their own rooms. It has been taken care of. It has a nice little yard and a garage. They are so happy to not be in an apt. and I don't blame them.

The sun was out and was just beautiful today. I had a jacket on most of the day and so did Monkey but both of us have very red faces. I have the kind of burn that looks like I have sunglasses on, but it's WHITE! LOL It's all good. I needed the sun!

I hope you have a blessed week.
