A catch up and the rest of the month.

So much for staying up to date.  Epic fail.
However here is the rest of the month of April in picture review.
We celebrated our 30th anniversary.  We went and had a lovely dinner along the water front.

A picture that I just love that I took.
One day I saw these at work.  I had to tell Bugs about them and he got all a twitter!

So the next week he came up after lunch to go lizard hunting.  He found and caught one but let it go.  I convinced him it might have a family somewhere so it wasn't good to keep it.  So he let it go.

Just scoping out the lay of the land.

He found Alvin in his hunting!
My aunt turned 80.  My Uncle had a party for her.  My parents came and we all went down for it.  It was really a good day.  I saw several people I love that we don't see often and it was nice.  That generation is getting older.  I'm not liking that at all.

My Uncle and Aunt.  I love them.
Our 4 adult boys gave us a wonderful anniversary gift.  They sent us to Salish Lodge for a night.  My goodness it was extravagant.  We had such a lovely evening.

The falls.  Our room overlooked the top of them.

30 years.
We left our balcony door open all night with the fire burning.  It was a lovely sound all night long.

From the jetted tub for 2.

The next morning we had to leave.  We didn't want to.  It was a great gift.
I hope  you have a blessed day.
Peace

Things that make you go Hmmmmmmm.

When I was 16 or 17 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have just always dealt with it and lived my life.  It's never been a secret but it's also nothing I really talk about.  It just is.  I hurt some days and some days I don't.  Sometimes it worse then others.  Just life, lots of people have it much worse.
About 5 years ago T2 lived with my parents and helped them on their farm.  He also worked as a mover. On one of his trips he got me a copper bracelet. The paper that came with it said it helped with arthritis pain and some other things. I loved that T2 thought of me and have worn it ever since.
I started out wearing it on my right hand in case I ever wore a watch, which I don't.  At some point my left wrist really was bugging me so I put the bracelet on my left side.  I have worn it there ever since. I haven't noticed that left wrist hurting much at all in a very long time.
Fast forward to about 6 weeks ago.  The bracelet broke. It is twisted copper wires and one of them broke and sticks out.  I was crushed.  I loved it.    I put it in my jewelry box and intend to keep it.  What has me going hmmmm is this, This week  my left wrist has hurt like a dirty mother!  It does not let up no matter how much pain med's I take.  What would you think??  I think it's very interesting.  I told T2 and he is on the lookout for another one for me.  I can't wait.
My parents are coming tomorrow.  It's my aunt's 80th birthday on Sunday.  We are all going.  I hope you have a good weekend.
Peace

Spring break in a nutshell

The Littles have been out of school this week.  So we took off to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  Alfredo went with Bugs.  He has been before and seems to really like the farm.

The 3 boys and Scout at the summit of the pass.  SNOW!

One pasture of horses.
From the left, Yuma, Wrangler, Pepper, Peanut Butter, Raven

My dad got a new cow.  The one on the left.  I think she has a sweet face.

I went and picked up Tinkerbell on Tuesday.  I miss her little self so much.  She is getting really big!  It really does crack me up that every time she comes to the farm she is in a tutu (that I gave her) and flip flops.  Isn't that wonderful farm attire.  She really is a sweet little girl.

Miss Tink will be 7 in a few weeks.

Monkey riding a very naughty Pepper.  I put an adult saddle on him and had a little conversation after this.  No pictures of it though.   He really is a good old man but needed a reminder of that.

Tink did bring shoes and jeans, but they were skinny jeans.  HILARIOUS watching her try to get up in them.

Alfredo on Raven.  Only the second time on a horse.  He did really good.

Cousin's picking up tumble weeds. You notice Tink?  She would not move off her throne.

Bugs riding Raven.  He doesn't normally like to ride and he did twice this trip.  He has a really good seat and a gentle hand.  He did really good!

Another pasture of horses.  The painted ones.  From the left, Rosie, Sage and Ditto.

Bugs and Monkey on Papa's wheeler.  They enjoy that!

My nephew Seth.

We were saddling horses and it started to rain.  We rode any ways!
From the left, my nephew Ryan, me, my niece Sheya.
It was a lovely week.  We all had a great time!

My lovely nieces and my nephew.  I love them so much!
It was almost 70' today and just beautiful.
Eggs were hidden and found.  Way to much food was made and eaten.  We all went to church together.  We took up 2 pews. It really was a great day.  We are blessed beyond measure.
Have  a blessed week.

My DaughterSisterFriend

A few weeks ago Anita asked me if I would be willing to come and have a mini portrait session with her.  She doesn't have a great family situation and we just needed the connection.  If I had been blessed with a daughter I know if she was half the women Anita Grace is she would be a blessing to all that meet her.  I am not sure I could love her more if she WAS ours.  Dh loves her as if she was ours too.   I am not a very good fashion person or a photogenic person.  So I again asked my sister to come help me.  We went shopping.  She just breezed through the store and found me clothes!  WHEW!
Saturday was the day!  We met at the appointed time.  The photographer had never done a "friends" session so we were all "newbies"  They did such a good job at putting us at ease.  Mostly she just asked us to be "US". Which by the way were are very good at!

Then we went and had lunch and then did a little shopping.  Neither of us purchased anything!  LameO shopping trip!   These are just 3 of the best pictures.  I actually think I look nice.  Not so dorkish at all.  Sweet!
I love you Anita Grace and you ARE an answer to a prayer and a blessing to us all!
Peace

Ooops!

A public post for the 3 of you who read.
Sorry it's been so long.  I have been writing but since it's mostly complaining I don't publish it.  Life doesn't have to be all roses and unicorns but I don't want to fuss all the time either.
In the past month Monkey has had his tonsils and adenoids out.  He didn't recover quite like I thought he would but he did good and is all good now.  His voice is a little higher then it was but he has totally stopped snoring at night. I hope he is as healthy as a pet pig now.

I will never get tired of these guys and trying to get the PERFECT picture of one.

One of my clients got a new puppy.  An Italian Mastiff.  Her name is Lucy.  So cute!

Monkey waiting to go into surgery.  He was very nervous but was so brave.  He did SUPER!

Spring is coming!  I promise!

My scrap booking friends and I went to a Bunco party.  It was an 80's theme.  We had so much fun!  I am so thankful for my sister.  She helped me dress.  I was TOTALLY out of my element and comfort zone!  I did have a very good time.
From the left, Lalita, Joan, Me and Carol.

Princess is taking skating lesson's.  She really is doing good and LOVES it when we come to watch her.  I just love her.

We did not have ONE flake of snow all Winter long.  HOWEVER on the second day of Spring we had a itty bitty snow storm.  Lots of area's around us had several inches of snow.  Lucky them.

The only other thing worth blogging about is that some friends of ours had a little girl Hannah.  She was born with some serious issues and was very medically fragile.  She passed away.  She is missed every day by her family and the people who knew her.  We are so thankful for the almost 9 years she was here.  Now we just trust in God that he will take care of her.  Her mama's heart is breaking and she is trying to figure out how to live without her.
Remember to cherish your loved ones near and far.  Don't take them for granted.

Thanks for hanging in there with me.  I will try not to dissapoint.
Have a blessed week.
Peace

I had a date!

Just a quick update for the last few days. It was drop dead gorgeous today!  I wore no jacket!
I went and applied for a passport today.  I'm going to need it!  I'm also hoping it opens the door for some great adventures.
Monkey reading to Scout before bed.  He LOVES to read.  I love that I passed that on to several of my boys.

Today, the view from my deck.  It was warm out.  As I was coming home from errands I saw a neighbor mowing his lawn.  He MIGHT be pushing it.  It is still pretty soggy from months of rain.

A crocus

In the grass.  So sweet!

I had to go to Costco this after noon and invited my Monkey to go with.  He loves it there.  He always has a hot dog and a very berry sundae before we go.  He's a pretty cheap date!

Finishing his hot dog.  I think I got all the mustard off his face.

I asked him to come stand by me.  He photo bombed us!  Then got the giggles because I didn't know it until I looked at the picture.

A good one of us.  He's such a sweetie.

Have a great weekend!
Peace
