We got up and didn't move fast but moved with purpose. We were headed back to Glasgow. We were there for only one night. We stayed at the same hotel we stayed at the first time, The Sandyford Hotel. They really were lovely folks there. It was Lorraine's birthday, and she picked Mother India for dinner. MAN was it good! We learned when we were in Glasgow that it is known for its Indian food. I could have eaten Naan bread alone and been happy. The curry was delicious though.
After dinner Madeline and I, my ice-cream cohort, went next door and had amazing homemade ice-cream. I could have gone back the next morning for ice cream for breakfast. But they don't open until lunch time. DRATS. We went back to our hotel room and regrouped, repacked and got ready to head home. The next morning, we had to be up and on the ball. We had to turn in the car and get to the airport. We thought we'd be way early, but it was a mess going through security and such. Madeline stayed for a few weeks longer, so she left us at the airport to catch the train. It really was a lovely time. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
