The Sick!
Poor Monkey. He has been so sick today.
This is what throwing up all day does to his little face. Broke little veins all over his little face. He is so pitiful. We are not big med's people but were starting to get a little worried that he wasn't keeping anything at all down so our doc called in a prescription for him and I hadn't a clue! Dh went to get it and it is suppositories. I looked at Monkey and said if you can't stop throwing up I am going to have to put one of these in your hiney so it can help you. He looked at me and dead seriousness said "SERIOUSLY?" I said yes. He just shuddered. I know he doesn't quite know what to think because of his face when he said it we laughed so hard!
T2 was playing the piano today. It was so pretty to listen to. I asked later if he was reading something or was it in his head. It was just in his head. He had no idea I was recording. I had to record something so you get Monkey sleeping and Scout on guard over him.
He seems to be on the upside tonight. No need for the suppositories.

Super Bowl Sunday
Dh and I are not sports people. We have a whole bunch of boys who are. So we watch a few things here and there so we can have a conversation with them every now and again. I know it's funny. Heir apparent is a season's ticket holder to the Seahawks. He is an AVID Mariner's fan. The other boys like football and baseball as well. Not quite like Heir but they do. All that to say We watched the Super Bowl so we could say we did. Dh tends to always cheer for the underdog. So we were hoping the Saints would win. They did! He is so pleased. Heir said we picked the right team to cheer for.

Today would have been my brother's 50Th birthday. He has been gone several years. My parent's have buried 2 children. It doesn't seem fare does it.
It has been a quiet weekend. I'm not really ready for it to be over.

Memories
Dh has been watching home movies. It is cracking us up. We have never thought that our littlest guy looked to much like any of the brothers. We were watching a video of us going to Glacier Park and we were shocked! Monkey looks very much like Skater Dude. We just thought he was my mini me and that was all but he really looked like Skater. We have always said Bugs was a mini Heir and EVERYONE thinks that. In this particular movie T2 is younger then Bugs right now but they look very similar and have some of the same mannerism. It was so funny to us. I know at some point we should somehow get all those VHS tapes onto discs. That task is overwhelming at the thought. I still have 27 years of pictures I'm sorting! I really need a craft room. I hate bringing things out and working for a little bit then having to put it all away. That's why I haven't sown much in years - since Bugs was born or why I only work on scrap booking one night a month. At someone else's house! Pathetic.
The sun has been out and it's been so nice the last few days. It makes me want to start looking at flower catalogs and seed books. I have worked in my flower beds many years in February but haven't yet this year.
Heir stopped by yesterday and informed me that we are almost out of jam and he doesn't prefer blueberry. LOL I guess that's what is mostly left. I know there is still berries in the freezer but someone has to pull them out if the want more jam made. I just love how that kid comes and grocery shops through my pantry then fusses that I don't have what he'd like. Drummer boy has asked for raspberry and we have been out of that for a while and I'm not sure if there is more in the freezer. Just for the record Heir took blueberry even though it's not his favorite. I probably should just do strawberries but Dh and I do like other kinds too and since I am the one making it.............

Groundhog Day
I'm not sure what the groundhog saw today but we haven't had Winter yet so I am hopeful we don't start now.
I had to run an errand this afternoon and Bugs found this guy on our travels. He was all a twitter! FROGS are out!
He was starting to warm up and he kept jumping off the leaf. Bugs let him go after our photo shoot.
I know it's blurry, I had the wrong setting but I wanted you to see Bugs holding his friend.
Spring is really coming. I should have taken a picture of the primrose blooming too.
I can't believe it's already February. Didn't we just have Christmas? Time just has a way of marching onward doesn't it.

Well
Well I finished up the 31 Day Challenge. I thought I did pretty good. I did use a few archive pictures and I didn't really want to but if I knew I had a good picture for the word in my files I used it instead of trying to re-capture what I knew I already had. Did that make any sense to you? Clear as mud? :)
Today I was at one of Hen's house. I love her so much and she is such a treasure. She cracked me up today. As I was changing her sheets and cleaning her room I asked why the window was open. It is STILL Winter. She said " I open it every morning to let the farts out." I laughed so hard.
